Caryopteris ‘Compact Deep Blue’ is a neat, deciduous shrub prized for its intense deep blue flowers that appear from late summer into autumn, just when gardens need a lift. Its aromatic grey-green foliage forms a compact, tidy mound, making it ideal for borders, containers, and smaller gardens. Highly attractive to bees and butterflies, it’s an excellent pollinator-friendly choice. Best grown in full sun and well-drained soil, this low-maintenance shrub is drought tolerant once established. Cut back hard in spring to encourage fresh growth and abundant flowering later in the season.
