Monarda ‘Cambridge Scarlet’ (Bergamot)

Monarda, commonly known as Bergamot, produces attractive curving tubular red flowers that bloom from early summer to autumn. The aromatic foliage adds fragrance to the garden. Deadheading spent flowers will encourage further blooming. This perennial spreads fairly quickly, so clumps may need to be divided every three years to maintain healthy growth and prevent overcrowding.
